Kita-untuk-Kita (K2K) is a ground-up programme that seeks to improve the lives of public housing communities. K2K supports communities and building management to solve social, economic and physical challenges together through four critical areas: community empowerment, co-management, income generation and policy reform.

The Badminton Training at PPR Kg Baru Hicom was a result of the community recognising the need for more youth-centric initiatives. On 8 December 2022, the community held a Badminton Tournament at New Vision Badminton Court, Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya.

It intersects with ongoing debates shaping a new development narrative for Malaysia as it transitions into a high-income economy. Central to this narrative is the concern about equity and the sharing of development benefits across the rich diversity of Malaysian society.

K2K INDAH is a child nutrition programme organised at three public housing complexes in Selangor State: PPR Kampung Baru Hicom, PPR Kota Damansara and five blocks at Desa Mentari low-cost housing. The selected housing estates and blocks comprise 5008 households, of which 886 applied for the K2K INDAH programme. Of these, 857 are eligible for the programme.
