Core responsibility is in providing day-to-day HR services, and supporting management by providing advice and data-anchored options on HR policy matters. Experience supervising or managing junior employees, and ability to balance the role of mediator and enforcer will be key to success in the role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning
    • Collaborating with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with TC’s goals and objectives.
    • Providing guidance and recommendations on human resources policies, procedures, and programs.

 

  • Recruitment and Staffing
    • Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
    • Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

 

  • Employee Relations
    • Managing employee relations matters, including addressing and resolving conflicts, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
    • Implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention including conducting formal employee surveys, analyzing results, and recommending improvements to promote a positive work culture.

 

  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Developing and administering compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives, bonuses, and employee benefits packages.
    • Conducting market research to ensure competitive compensation practices.
    • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll and compliance to all statutory deductions and payments.

 

  • Training and Development
    • Identifying training needs within the organization and designing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Evaluating training effectiveness and monitoring employee development progress.

 

  • Performance Management
    • Implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback mechanisms
    • Assisting managers in providing constructive feedback and coaching to employees.

 

  • Policy Development
    • Developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
    • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records.

 

  • HR Administration
    • Managing HR administrative tasks, such as employee onboarding, contracts, resignation
    • Maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and generating reports as required
    • Collecting and analyzing HR data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Generating reports and presenting findings to management to support data-driven decision-making.
