Manager – Brand and Communications

As a Manager in Think City’s Brands and Communucations team, you will be responsible in delivering brand consultation and communication services for the organisation. To help service the wide number of flagships and practice within the organisation, you must be passionate about cities and ready to learn about Think City’s work in the urban development landscape as well as its services for clients, stakeholders and partners. The candidate will also be responsible to ensure Think City’s key messages are communicated effectively to its target audience and to ensure effective communication guidelines, strategy and framework are adhered by the organisation and its partners. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that the  external branding and communications strategy including digital is executed to  plan and contributes positively  towards the organisation
  • Manage the Corporate Communications  programme, media relationships, and media events
  • Ensure identified actions from the Flagship Programmes are implemented, marketed and  communicated to key stakeholders
  • Support communications throughout the organisation

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum a degree in Communications or Marketing or any other relevant field

Minimum years of experience

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience

Kind of experience

  • Prior experience communications and marketing in an in-house department and/or agency setting
  • Skilled in managing associates and multiple projects
  • Experienced in media relations and public relations
  • Experienced in social media management and strategy
  • Experienced in corporate communications and branding
  • Prior editorial and broadcast experience is an advantage
  • Experienced in organising and managing events (both live and digital events)

Technical Knowledge

  • MS Office
  • Project Management platforms
  • Canva or any other online graphic or video editing software
  • Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Premiere Pro as an added advantage
