Social and Environmental – Senior Associate (Public Health and Social Resilience)

Looking for an outgoing, multiskilled, detail-oriented and ambitious Senior Executive with formal education in health, anthropology or social sciences and a minimum of 3-5 years work experience to build their career while shaping Malaysia climate adaptation programme with us.

The public health and social resilience programme require more detailed planning, stakeholder engagement and management, contract development with delivery partners, communication, liaison and coordination with other programme components and meeting programme deadlines.

To be a successful Senior Executive, you focus on shaping innovative systems change solutions with the affected communities. You will oversee the implementation of such initiatives by suitable delivery partners that you help to identify. Ultimately, an exceptional Senior Executive will be self-driven to design, implement and monitor multiple initiatives while collaboration with community, internal and external partners. Your manager and other senior members are there to guide and support you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving the coordination of all aspects of selected major projects and commissions 
  • Data compilation, meeting and workshop preparation, logistics, preparation of briefing papers/presentations
  • Quality control of internal and external outputs and deliverables
  • Engage with communities to co-design interventions
  • Building and maintaining a network of stakeholders
  • Ensure methodology and steps taken are documented so that they can be defended and replicated
  • Maintain up to date documentation and filing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a social sciences, public health, anthropology or a related discipline

Minimum years of experience:

  • 3-5 years of work experience
