This position requires the candidate to take a lead role in solving urban problems using spatial and non-spatial data analysis. The candidate should be able to offer strategic insights based on quantitative analysis of complex datasets (e.g., social, economic, environmental) using Geographical Information System (GIS) and must be proficient in ArcGIS and/ or QGIS. The role also includes project management, business development, data R&D, and supporting and developing Think City’s Urban Data Platform.
The candidate should possess strong verbal and visual communication skills to synthesise spatial and data analysis and translate it for a wide range of stakeholders. Further, the role will involve ideating and innovating using spatial analysis, pushing the boundaries of spatial and data analysis for internal Think City research, client projects, and business development. This will contribute to the Strategy & Analytics team’s focus on generating evidence-based insights to guide policy-making and provide decision-making support for decision makers.
