Through more than a decade of experience in city-making Think City has witnessed first-hand the lack of widespread access to knowledge and best practice principles for professionals and a reluctance on the part of the wider community to be involved in the city-making process. Think City Institute was established as both a knowledge repository and an advocacy and learning arm of Think City. Through our own work and that of a wide range of international partners TCI is building capacity, advocating best practice and is now in the process of building Asia’s most extensive digital library of urbanism.
We are looking for the right person to help us expand – someone who is both hands-on and takes a pragmatic approach to the role. The successful candidate will work closely with our Think City project teams and our global network of partner organisations to design the scope and sequencing of capacity building courses, provide administrative assistance and help manage participants during the duration of the course.
As an associate or senior associate, you will be required to write and edit content and some other logistical and administrative aspects of content delivery including overseeing the digitisation of Think City’s body of work to ensure that what is captured is relevant and presented in a clear and logical manner.
