Urban Mechanics – Associate/Senior Associate (Kuala Lumpur)

Urban Mechanics ensure that city engines are optimised to achieve resilience and improve quality of life. This position requires the candidate to drive innovative, experimental solutions to complex urban challenges through multi-disciplinary, people-oriented, and occasionally unconventional approaches.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role will require the candidate to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop business opportunities and apply the required knowledge
and skill set to execute diverse placemaking projects, including conceptualising, developing, and managing public realm improvement, space activation programme, grants management
and other placemaking initiatives through evidence-based approach and participatory process.

The candidate should possess strong verbal and visual communication skills to interpret data analysis and convey it to a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in the field of Urban Studies OR Social Sciences OR,
