Learn from international place-making experts about creating streets and places for people, and how to turn public spaces into places that people want to be. The CAEL workshop promises to be interactive and hands-on, where you will be learning by doing through Place Games at and around the Pasar Seni MRT station in Kuala Lumpur.

HANS KARSSENBERG
Hans Karssenberg is a founding partner of STIPO, team for urban strategy and development. He advises cities, housing providers, developers and NGOs in the Netherlands and internationally. Hans works on complex urban (re)development, placemaking and co-creation processes and was the project manager for the Rotterdam Plinth Strategy. Hans is editor and co-curator of the “The City at Eye Level” series, with latest edition “The City at Eye Level in the Netherlands”
SIENNA VEELDERS
Siënna Veelders is an urban heritage expert. She is project manager for projects all over the Netherlands and inner cities, shares the world of the City at Eye level through trainings and online channels. She worked on projects in Hong Kong and Myanmar together with her colleague Hans Karssenberg and local parties, she is setting up City at Eye Level Asia to spread the passion for great working on public spaces and Asian cities.
