A City For Everyone is a compilation of efforts ranging from space activation, arts and culture programmes to conserving the historic urban fabric of the city. Museum and Gallery Network (MAGNET)
The Museum and Gallery Network (MAGNET) is an initiative by the George Town Conservation and Development Corporation (GTCDC) and its partners to promote public participation in the creative and heritage sectors in Penang. MAGNET aims to develop a vibrant network of cultural and community spaces using buildings and sites of heritage value. These venues will provide the setting for a range of programmes such as public archaeology, installation art, community archives, performing arts, creative makerspaces, and numerous exhibition spaces.

Butterworth Action Plan (BWAP)
The Butterworth Action Plan (BWAP), also known as Butterworth Baharu, is a set of four key interventions in Butterworth that has been endorsed by the Penang State Government. The recently announced RM2 billion Penang Sentral project at the current site of the Butterworth’s ferry terminal, bus terminal and railway station is set to be the northern region’s largest integrated transport hub and holds the key to the town’s revival.
