HR Manager


The Human Resource (HR) Manager is accountable for formulating and executing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organisation’s overall direction. This role provides both strategic and operational HR support and guidance to stakeholders, while also delivering solutions that promote a positive, high-performance work culture, enhance employee engagement, and ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  1. Act as a business partner to line managers on people-related matters.
  2. Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and develop structured on-boarding programmes for new employees
  3. Facilitate performance management processes and cultivate a positive, high-performance work culture
  4. Support succession planning, talent and capability development initiatives to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and continuity in critical roles
  5. Manage competitive compensation, benefits and employee wellbeing programmes to attract and retain top talents
  6. Champion employee engagement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  7. Facilitate the implementation and optimisation of HR systems and analytics to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance HR effectiveness
  8. Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and alignment with company policies and procedures


Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field

Minimum years of experience

  • 6-10 years of experience

  • Well-rounded HR professional with end-to-end experience across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Experienced in supporting leadership on implementing HR strategies, driving organisational culture, and supporting leadership on people-related matters
  • Well versed with Malaysian labour laws, HR systems, and data-driven approaches to enhance workforce effectiveness and compliance
