Museology - Senior Associate (Based in KL)

The Senior Associate, Museology will report to Senior Manager, Museology and will be responsible for planning, organising and curating exhibition content for Think City museology projects, including support for galleries and exhibitions for Warisan KL. The role requires close collaboration with relevant stakeholders and consultants to craft storylines and interpretive frameworks to create engaging and enriching exhibition experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Participating in the development and management of Think City museology activities.
Developing the exhibition’s conceptual and detailed designs.
Coordination and supervision of exhibit vendors’ fabrication and installation operations.
Performing project management related responsibilities and providing support in stakeholder management.

Qualification

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field.

experience

At least 5-7 years’ experience in museum/gallery exhibition and management.
Experience in museology, exhibition curation and exhibition design.
Exposure to curatorial processes and experience working with museums and galleries.
Keen interest in cultural heritage and development.
Ability to conceptualise, design and implement exhibitions is a plus.
