Government To Upgrade Living Conditions At PPRs

THE Local Government Development Ministry has been allocated RM50mil to ensure a safe environment at the People’s Housing Projects (PPRs) – with priority on replacing dilapidated elevators.

This is one of the various measures to improve liveability at PPRs, as announced by the Prime Minister when tabling Belanjawan 2023 in February.

PPRs have been implemented for decades to provide home ownership for the low-income rakyat. The Unity Government wants to improve living conditions at such schemes.
