The Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council (MPKK) intends to establish the 'Hari Kuale Lenggang' as an iconic biennial event to raise the royal town's profile as a historic , cultural and sustainable tourism hub in Perak.
Its president Dr. Sakduddin Zamli said the inaugural Kuale Lenggang Day, a community programme held yesterday by MPKK and Visual Motion Lab, in collaboration with Think City and Yayasan Hasanah, attracted more than 7,000 visitors to Jalan Kangsar.
"Kuale Lenggang Day can enliven Kuala Kangsar as a tourist attraction and community hub, while generating economy spillover for local traders and tourism in industry players.
